Söderfjärdsskolan is a municipal F-6 school.

The school is beautifully located by Johannesbergsparken with a view over Södra Vaxholmsfjärden. Approximately 280 students attend our fine facilities, and we who work in the school and leisure center number around 40 people. The school also runs an integrated adapted primary school. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative music teacher for our school. The position is a temporary contract of 60–80% during the spring term of 2026, with a possibility of extension. As a music teacher, you inspire students to learn about music through engaging and interactive lessons. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and experience teaching various music genres and instruments.

You will work closely with the teachers and teaching resources in the organization, as well as with special educators, class teachers, and school management.

Experience and Competence

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed music teacher with qualifications for music in grades 1–6 or has equivalent competence,
• has good pedagogical skills and clear leadership in the classroom,
• is confident in your professional role and can adapt teaching to the different conditions of the students.

We would like you to have experience working with students in elementary and middle school. We assume that you are engaged and flexible in your professional role and have good collaboration skills. We take it for granted that you see music as an important tool for students' learning, creativity, and well-being. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Conditions

The position is a temporary contract with a scope of 60–80% during the spring term of 2026 (with a possibility of extension).
